This page sets out how Voice Agent Bible is written, sourced and corrected. The rules are mechanical where they can be, so that neutrality does not depend on good intentions. Where a rule is enforced by a script in the build, we say so.
Independence
Voice Agent Bible accepts no payment from vendors for coverage. Specifically: no paid placement, no affiliate links, no sponsored posts, no referral fees and no sale or sharing of contact data with vendors. No vendor has any commercial relationship with the site. Requests for placement are declined and are not logged as sources. If that ever changes, this page will be changed first and the change recorded on the corrections log.
Vendor mentions
- No voice-agent vendor is recommended, ranked or scored.
- Vendor lists are alphabetical and contain at least eight names, or no names at all. This applies to platforms, packaged products, contact-centre suites and component providers alike.
- In the site's first year, no page publishes scores or rankings of named vendors derived from the site's own measurements. Measured evidence is reported as method plus range.
- Head-to-head comparisons of named vendors appear only when they rest on public, dated, reproducible facts: a published price page, a documented feature, a regulator's finding, a dated changelog entry. Each such comparison links to the sources and states the date the facts were checked.
- Any vendor named in a comparison has a right of reply. We email the vendor's public contact address before or at publication, publish a summary of any factual response within 72 hours of receiving it, and correct the page if the response shows an error.
- Vendors are never named in page slugs.
Sourcing
Every factual claim carries a source, and every source carries a tier:
| Tier | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Measured | The research team ran it. The method is described on the methodology page and the result is given as a range or a distribution, never as a vendor score. |
| Primary | Regulator text, statute, official filing, a company's own pricing or documentation page, a standards body. |
| Reported | Press, analyst reports, secondary write-ups, conference talks. |
| Vendor claim | A vendor's statement about itself or a rival. Never the sole basis for a number. |
Every number on the site names its publisher and its date. Where two credible sources disagree, both are shown side by side with their dates, and the page says which the research team finds more persuasive and why, or says that it cannot tell. Numbers without a source are removed rather than kept as colour. Seed material drawn from the research team's hands-on work is rewritten as patterns, mechanisms and ranges, never as an account of a named customer or vendor.
Corrections
Report an error to hello@voiceagentbible.com with the page address and the sentence in question. Once the report is verified against the cited source or a better one, the page is fixed within 72 hours. Every correction, however small, is logged on the corrections page with the date, the page, what changed and why. Material corrections, meaning any change that alters a conclusion, a number a buyer might act on or a regulatory statement, are also noted in the next Weekly issue. The original wording is not silently overwritten; the log is the record.
Versioning
Every page shows a last-verified date and a version number. Cosmetic edits (typos, link repairs, formatting) do not change the version. Substantive edits, meaning any change to a fact, a number, a recommendation to ask something or a regulatory statement, bump the version and update the last-verified date. Compliance rows are re-verified on a quarterly cycle. Any page that has not been re-verified within twelve months displays a staleness notice at the top until it is checked again.
AI assistance
Drafting tools, including large language models, are used in producing this site: for first drafts, for restructuring, for summarising long regulatory texts and for consistency checks. They are not a source. Every fact, number, date and quotation is checked by the research team against the cited source before publication, and the research team is responsible for every word. Where a tool's output could not be verified, it was cut.
Legal content
Compliance pages, the compliance matrix and every regulatory statement on this site are informational. They are not legal advice and do not create any professional relationship. Rules change, effective dates move and enforcement practice differs between regulators. The site records the text as published on the date verified and flags items known to be in flux. Before relying on any regulatory statement here, confirm it with counsel in your jurisdiction and with the regulator's current text, which is linked from each row.
